Hello

I'm so glad you are here. I am Libby Kacich, the heart and founder of Raja Yoga & Ayurveda. Built on decades as a dedicated student, I created Raja as a compassionate offering, rooted in the core belief of our inherent greatness and power as intuitive agents of change in our own well-being. It is a space where the profound tools of Yoga and Ayurveda guide us back to the wholeness that is already within, realized only when we pause, listen, and connect to the mysterious divine that unites us all. I am a Champaign-Urbana native with a winding warrior's journey that has led me to offering the insights, tools and technologies of Yoga and Ayurveda—which have profoundly changed my life for the better—to you. My greatest joys and my greatest teachers are my amazing husband and daughters.

In addition to my own embodied practice, I received a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification from the revered Himalayan Institute, and an Ayurvedic Wellness Coach certification from the renowned Ayurvedic Institute, where I trained with Dr. Vasant Lad.

My Story

For many years, I lived my life in pieces. My demanding career as an executive received one (very big) part of me. My family another, challenged to create space for joyful parenting and marriage. My friends some. Myself whatever was left—even as I went through cancer and burnout. In trying to be everything for everyone, I slowly lost touch with myself. I wasn’t fully present anywhere—least of all in my own life.

Then I truly leaned into Yoga and Ayurveda.

Ayurveda teaches me that wholeness isn’t something to achieve—it’s something to remember. That my health, energy, and sense of fulfillment are deeply connected to the rhythms of nature and to my own unique constitution. It shows me how to tune in, pay attention, and care for myself in simple, intuitive, and science-backed ways. Not by doing more—but by listening more.

Yoga teaches me how to get out of my own way. How to work with my energy instead of against it. How to meet my life as it is—with presence, courage, and purpose—right here, right now.

Through seasons of growth and loss, ambition and burnout, motherhood, illness, doubt and deep joy, Yoga and Ayurveda have been the steady thread guiding me back to myself. They help me take the next right step, again and again, toward clarity, self-trust, well-being, and a life that feels truly aligned.

This path has led me here—to you.

I’m here to walk alongside you as a guide and a support, wherever you are on your own journey toward balance, vitality, and wholeness. If you’re seeking something deeper, steadier, and more sustainable — I invite you to begin here.

Join me on the path.
